Getting started
The Adventurer's Trial has not launched yet, so getting started today means knowing what to expect on day one. The game is Coming soon on Steam, will enter Early Access under HY Studio, and currently has no demo listed. The price remains TBA, so the safest way to prepare is to have the page on your Steam wishlist and confirm your PC can handle the requirements.
Here are the published specs to check ahead of release:
Minimum: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i3-2100, 4 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 430, 10 GB available space
Recommended: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5-6500, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 10 GB available space
Both tiers require a 64-bit processor and operating system, and the install size stays at 10 GB either way. The most meaningful upgrade between the two is the jump from 4 GB to 8 GB RAM and from the GT 430 to the GTX 750 Ti, which matters more if you plan to play with a full party.
If you plan to host co-op sessions on day one, aim for the recommended specs. A machine sitting at the minimum can run the game, but the extra memory and GPU headroom help when four players are mining, farming, building, and triggering boss abilities in the same world.
Once the Early Access build goes live, follow this first-session checklist to get the most out of your opening hours:
Set up a party-friendly save even if you start solo; you can play alone or invite up to 3 friends later
Craft basic tools first: mining and gathering come before building so you always have materials ready
Plant a small farm early to create a renewable food and material loop for longer expeditions
Scout boss areas before pushing: the Trial is about learning patterns, not only about outgearing the fight
Use LAN Co-op when playing on a local network for the most stable connection, and rely on standard online co-op otherwise
Keep your expectations set for an Early Access title. Systems, balance, and content will change between updates, and the Steam listing currently shows no achievements, so do not expect a trophy list at launch. If you want to track the game until release, wishlist it on Steam so you are notified as soon as HY Studio announces the price and launch date.
