Minimum Requirements

Officially, The Adventurer's Trial requires a 64-bit processor and operating system. The minimum spec line is a modest one, which fits the game's pixel-art sandbox style, but it still places the game firmly on Windows 10. If your PC matches these numbers, you should be able to launch the game and explore the Trial at a basic playable level.

The game is currently listed as Coming soon with an Early Access release planned by HY Studio. Be aware that requirements for an Early Access title can change as optimization work happens, so check back close to launch.

Recommended Requirements

For a noticeably smoother experience, especially if you plan to play co-op with up to 3 friends, HY Studio recommends the following hardware:

• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
• Storage: 10 GB available space

The gap between minimum and recommended specs is fairly typical for an indie sandbox adventure. The jump from 4 GB to 8 GB RAM and the upgrade from a GT 430 to a GTX 750 Ti should help keep frame rates stable during heavy building or boss fights with other players on screen.

Notes on 64-bit and Windows 10

Both the minimum and recommended requirements open with the same demand:64-bit processor and operating system. There is no 32-bit support listed, and the only supported OS is Windows 10 64-bit. If you are still running an older 32-bit version of Windows, you will not meet the official requirements.

Note that Steam's listed categories for the game include Multi-player,Co-op, and LAN Co-op, so every player in a session will need their own PC that meets the specs.

Hardware Notes: CPU, GPU, and RAM

Understanding where your rig sits between the two spec tiers is easy with a quick comparison:

• CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 (minimum) versus Intel Core i5-6500 (recommended)
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 (minimum) versus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (recommended)

The Core i3-2100 is an older dual-core chip, and the GT 430 is a very basic dedicated GPU, so the minimum tier should mostly appeal to low-end office PCs and older laptops. The recommended tier, with a Core i5-6500 and GTX 750 Ti, is closer to what most modern budget gaming PCs already have.

For a pixel-art sandbox title, 4 GB of RAM may be enough for solo play, but 8 GB is the safer choice if you keep other programs open while playing. Since the game supports co-op sessions that can involve building, mining, and boss fights at the same time, the extra memory helps keep things responsive.

Storage and Download Size

Both spec tiers list the same storage requirement:10 GB available space. There is no separate note about SSD or HDD, so a standard hard drive should technically work, but an SSD will improve loading times when entering the sandbox world.

Every adventurer must face the Trial, a boundless pixel-art sandbox where you can explore, build, mine, farm, and challenge epic bosses.

Because The Adventurer's Trial is planned as an Early Access release, expect the final install size to grow over time as HY Studio adds content. Leaving a few GB of headroom beyond the 10 GB requirement will save you from having to free up space before a patch.
